Kids grow faster than anyone prepares you for.
These keepsakes are our way of helping families slow things down — even just for a moment. They’re meant to be displayed, loved, and someday looked back on with a smile.
Hello,
I’m Tara
Tiny Prints Ceramics began in the middle of motherhood.
As a nurse, I’ve always cared deeply about people. But becoming a mom changed me in a way I can’t fully put into words. Suddenly, time felt different. Faster. More precious.
I remember looking at my children’s hands and thinking, “They’ll never be this small again.”
I wanted to capture that exact moment — not perfectly, not posed — just as it was.
Tiny Prints Ceramics grew from that desire. Today, I create each keepsake the way I made my own children’s: gently, carefully, and with so much love behind it.
How it works
Creating your keepsake is simple, thoughtful, and designed to feel easy from start to finish.
Your
Appointment
Your visit to our Southeast Michigan studio is relaxed and family-friendly.
We use non-toxic, baby-safe clay and move at your child’s pace — whether they’re curious, wiggly, shy, or somewhere in between. Sessions are by appointment only, with limited weekly availability so every family gets the time and care they deserve.
You don’t need to bring anything special.
You don’t need to stress about perfection.
We’ll gently guide you through the process and take it from there.
Personalize
your keepsake
After we capture your child’s print, you’ll choose the details that make it uniquely yours.
Select from:
Size and shape
Glaze colors
Border styles
Font options and name placement
Whether you prefer something classic and minimal or soft and decorative, we’ll help you create a piece that fits beautifully in your home.
The Ceramic
Process
From there, the craftsmanship begins.
Each piece is carefully:
Dried and refined
Sanded smooth by hand
Glazed with your selected finish
Kiln-fired twice for durability and longevity
Every step is done slowly and intentionally. No shortcuts. No molds. Just careful, hands-on work to create a one-of-a-kind keepsake that will last for years to come.
